THE DROWNED MAN: A HOLLYWOOD FABLE
‘The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable’ is a huge immersive dance/theatre show by immersive pioneers Punchdrunk International. Directed by Felix Barrett (Artistic Director) and Maxine Doyle and choreographed by Maxine Doyle
Premiering in 2013, The Drowned Man was the first professional job I got after graduating where I performed as a Swing from February 2014 to July 2014. This included the roles: Dwayne, Marshall and Oscar the Clown.
Have you ever seen nature inside out? When the sun stands at midday and it’s as if the world was going up in flames?
Step into the world of Temple Pictures where the Hollywood studio system meets a forgotten hinterland filled with dreamers who exist at the fringes of the movie industry. Here, celluloid fantasy clings to desperate realism and certainty dissolves into a hallucinatory world.
